888 Offers In-Flight Gambling

According to the British tabloid The Sunday Mirror, 888 and a few airlines will be offering online in- flight gambling beginning in 2008. Irish budget airline Ryan Air is said to be the first to launch the online gambling games with more airlines soon to follow.

Thanks to new technology allowing in flight online access British Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific Airline will be the next to provide travelers with the option of online gambling to pass the time during flights exclusively through 888 online casinos. Passengers will be able to gamble and access 888 through their in flight television screens and make their wagers via credit card.

‘This will attract more players in more places every day,’ said Gigi Levy, CEO for 888. It seems like it may attract many players for 888 who otherwise may never tried or even considered online gambling, which is what 888 is probably hoping for.

This plan has caused complaints from anti-gambling groups who are considering the same outcome feeling that it will just promote more gambling problems to those who never played at an online casino before.

Passengers will be able to play their favorite games such as Poker, Blackjack, Roulette among many other games.

Possible Sale For PartyGaming

PartyPoker whose parent company is PartyGaming was among the first to take the lead in conforming to the UIGEA that was passed into law. PartyPoker took steps to make sure that players from the United States would not be able to gamble on their site.

But it was soon after PartyPoker took these steps that an announcement was made which stated that the publicly traded UK stock, PartyGaming, took a huge hit. Meaning, their stock prices hit rock bottom and their revenue followed. It was reported in August 2007 that shares in the company were showing at 22.75 pence which is considerably low for this once booming company.

What is left for PartyGaming? Maybe more then you might think. There are apparent talks of a possible sale of the company. PartyGaming is making themselves open to talks with Las Vegas based companies.

At this point though, PartyGaming is not confirming any of these rumors. In fact, PartyGamings’ CEO Mitch Garber refused to discuss the situation during last week’s EIG 2007 i-Gaming conference. No specifics where given in regards to this matter and there was no confirmation that there are any talks at all with any companies for a sale of PartyGaming.

But, according to a report by Financial Times, there are three companies who are interested in talking about a purchase. The Bellagio, The Mirage, and 888.com could very well be prospective buyers.

But for right now, no one is speaking of any details. While no one at PartyGaming has confirmed a sale, no one has denied it either.

Full Tilt Poker Allows U.S. Citizens to Still Enjoy Online Gaming

With the bill that President Bush signed in October 2006, Americans were restricted from gambling on online casinos, sportsbooks, bingos, and poker rooms. While this caused many online casinos to leave the United States marketplace, there are still many states within the country where it is not illegal to gamble at an online casino.

Within the small total of 11 states where gambling at online casinos is illegal, two of those consider such an act a felony. Those two states are Louisiana and Washington. The other 9 states simply disallow online gaming and they are: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. But online poker and casino games can still be enjoyed by citizens in the rest of the 39 states.

But where does one go when looking for a quality online gaming experience when most have run for the hills? Full Tilt Poker is one of the few that still allows American to play online poker even after the October 2006 bill was passed.

Play for fun with play money or play for real and make serious cash. Either way, Full Tilt Poker offers the best there is with famous pros and huge bonuses. You can download it for free and enjoy your choice of poker games 24 hours a day.

And right now Full Tilt Poker is offering a deposit bonus of 100% up to $600 as well as frequent reload deposits too.

Not only are they a safe and secure online poker website, Full Tilt Poker is the only online poker software that was designed and created to be both PC and MAC compatible so all can enjoy.
